About AfriWeGo

AfriWeGo is a platform connecting travellers with local Travel Planners in Africa, launched in 2026.

Our idea

Many travellers want to discover Africa differently: with someone who lives there, away from the tours everyone takes. And many talented African Travel Planners remain invisible, known only by word of mouth. AfriWeGo brings them together.

What AfriWeGo does

• Profiles of local Travel Planners, checked by the team before going live.
• A free trip request with no commitment, and a clear quote.
• Protected messaging between the traveller and their Travel Planner.
• Country guides and a blog showing Africa through the eyes of those who live there.
